Flowtide Studios is a one-person product studio. Every product here started the same way: something in the world was broken or missing, and building a tool felt like the most useful response.

Some of those tools tackle big problems — misinformation, public accountability, the erosion of trust in shared reality. Others tackle small ones — like the fact that YouTube’s algorithm is terrible at recommending Argentine tango videos. Both matter. Making the world better doesn’t always mean saving it. Sometimes it means helping someone discover a dancer they’ll watch on repeat for the next six months.

The through-line is AI used thoughtfully: as a tool that extends human capability rather than replacing human judgment.

I’m a data scientist with experience across LLMs, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and bioinformatics. I’ve spent my career building things at the intersection of AI and real-world problems — and I got tired of those things living inside companies that didn’t share my priorities.

Flowtide Studios is where I build the products I actually want to exist. Some are mission-driven, some are passion-driven, and most are both. I work under a pseudonym because some of these products make powerful people uncomfortable, and I’d like to keep the focus on the work.
